Private Training

Try a Private Training with one of our gifted and professional trainers.  We are very proud of their varied backgrounds... all certified by renowned organizations including Stott Pilates, Boulder Pilates, and Polestar Rehabilitation Pilates, GYROTONIC®, and a variety of yoga certifications. They will help you create wonders in your body that you didn't even realize were there!

Private training is offered on a one-on-one basis using a variety of movement forms and equipment. We offer sessions in Pilates, Yoga and GYROTONIC ®. Individual assessments from a certified Instructor can occur without a physician's referral (these are not billable to insurance companies).

Each client is assessed and treated as an individual and each program is designed for the specific needs of that person. Our instructors are trained beyond choreography! We thoroughly assess your body movement to determine where your strengths and weaknesses lie.

A program of training starts improving your mobility where you have limitations and then advances to stabilizing vulnerable joints. Finally, we use your improved mobility and stabilization to build up coordinated movements that you use in daily life.

She has been an instructor and class teacher here at Mindful Movement since 2007, and teaches several classes a week. Her background has been working with athletes as well as clients with orthopedic injuries and issues. Her philosophy is it’s about “moving smarter, not harder”.

Daisy Levy: Daisy is certified by The Pilates Center of Boulder, Colorado in mat and equipment Pilates, and has taught individual and group classes in Colorado, New York, Boston, and here at Mindful Movement. She came to Pilates as a dancer and later used the method to rehabilitate first a shoulder operation, and later a knee repair. Daisy’s experience with movement and healing continues to inform her practice as a teacher; in the ten years she’s been teaching Pilates, she has worked with people trying to improve their performance in sport, as well as those who are trying to recover from injury or chronic pain. In the group classes Daisy teaches, emphasis is on informed movement, using imagery, breath, hands-on manipulation, support/release, and play to fully inhabit a healthy and strong body. Daisy also teaches individual classes, or private lessons, and addresses all of the same objectives but with an individual approach, deciding what the particularities of your body say about how you need to move, be supported, and be challenged. Above all, Daisy believes in the power of the human body, and that all of us have the potential to be strong, flexible, joyous movers.
